Planned Giving: Preparing for April 15, 2003
by George Bass (from the Nov/Dec 2002 issue)
It’s hard to believe but another year has come and gone. As 2002 draws to a close we all have to face one of the two items that are inevitable… taxes.
Now is the time to plan your tax strategy. Because of the phase–in of many tax relief measures, most taxpayers should accelerate deductions in 2002, while deferring income until 2003 (check with your accountant for the details — and whether this is appropriate for your particular situation.)
As you plan your tax strategy for 2002, I ask you to consider Christian Healing Ministries, Inc., in making good use of the income tax charitable deduction. A charitable gift now could make a substantial difference to you come April 15, 2003.
There are many ways you can take more control of your hard–earned income. Please contact your tax consultant, CPA, investment attorney, etc. for more information. If you do not have an expert to consult, please contact CHM, and we can connect you with someone who can help. Again, I ask that you consider Christian Healing Ministries in your financial planning to help insure the future and further the cause of teaching and practicing the scriptural principles of healing prayer.
