Journal lies flast when open

The prayer ministers at CHM have discovered that during prayer sessions the recipients enjoy having a "prayer bear" as something cuddly to hold on to, especially when revisiting childhood trauma or other painful memories. Since we have offered them for sale in the bookstore, we have had positive feedback concerning them.

A child in the hospital recovering from an automobile accident received one as a gift from her grandmother and fell in love with her bear; she was greatly comforted by it. We see these bears as tools to use during prayer or for someone in a nursing home or hospital - or anyone who wants or needs something to love and hold.
