Intercessors Report

The following praise report was a real joy for me, for it showed me the power that praying the Scriptures releases.
When Marcia wrote in June '"Please pray for compulsive overeating"... We put her under the inner healing category and prayed the following scriptures for her.
| Thank you Lord that you have seen Marcia's ways and that you have healed her and brought her into everlasting truth. In the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord that Marcia will forgive men their transgressions, so that her Heavenly Father will forgive her. In the name of Jesus. (the Key to all healing - to forgive others and yourself.) Thank you Lord for strengthening Marcia with Power through your Holy Spirit in her inner man. In the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord that all things become visible when exposed by the light, for every thing that becomes visible is light. For this reason it says, "awake sleeper and arise from the dead and Christ will shine on you." |
We also prayed the Deliverance Prayer over Marcia.
Marcia writes:
"I have requested prayer for compulsive overeating habits. Since I started receiving your earlier this year, I feel a report is in order.
I have not lost any weight but have dealt with the feeling that I needed to go to a weight loss group to do this. I have done that before, and even though I have lost weight, I have never been able to keep it off. I feel that when I go to a weight loss group I am giving them the responsibility that I need to accept for myself. Additionally I need to do this for myself and not for another individual.
I am at the point where the fact of weight (except for my health suffering) is not the big problem. The problem is the my compulsiveness controls a major part of my life and thoughts. I'm getting over the feeling that I'm a terrible person because of the compulsiveness, and have decided that some of the problem may be resentment and unforgiveness. That's what I am exploring now."
