Spring 1998
Dear CHM:
Last summer I asked for prayer. I had been told I still had a brain tumor after surgery on another one in a different area. Depression was a part of my life. My hand was in pain with so–called trigger fingers. A few weeks ago, the news came from my most recent MRI — perfectly normal!! Praise our loving God! The depression has lifted, and though my hand still hurts, I am learning simple exercises to help it instead of taking the recommended dangerous steroid drugs. Your ministry is a blessing to everyone it touches, directly and indirectly.

Dear Francis, Judith and friends at CHM:
As I am putting 1997 to bed, I am rereading the '97 Healing Lines and am receiving such a blessing. I think this is an excellent outreach ministry on its own, with quality content and professional format: GOOD WORK, and FOUR STARS FOR '97!
As I prayed this morning while the sun rose over the Pacific and I was praising God, I heard the Spirit tell me that although God enjoys the praise of His people, He enjoys even more the praising of His people one for another.
This letter is meant as a testimony to the power of your ministry as it reaches out to so many, but especially to me and through me to others.

Dear CHM:
I have written to you asking for prayer several times in the last year for me to conceive. The doctors said it was nearly impossible since I am 46 and going through menopause. I married two years ago — first time for me and my husband, and we wanted a child. God has granted us our miracle! I got pregnant Dec. 12! I just wanted to let you know and thank you for praying. Please continue to pray that I'll have a healthy baby, pregnancy and safe delivery. Thank you and God bless you!!

Dear Christian Healing Ministries:
I am writing to you with such joy and love in my heart. I am sure you can hear me praising our Lord way down there in Florida!
How do I begin to thank you for touching my life so deeply? I knew that I was yearning for Jesus and wide open to receive his love, but what I didn't know was that on Palm Sunday in its early breaking hour I would receive two glorious gifts from our Lord — His beautiful drenching me with His Holy Spirit and the gift of healing — to be pain–free from a 10–year battle with low back and piercing sciatic leg pain. Since that day, life as I had known it was gone.
(Also), the healing of my left foot was something that I actually watched as it turned from ice cold and purply–blueish to pink and warm. But the most glorious moment came in the form of the Lord coming to me so mightily as I rested in the Spirit after you both prayed for me.
Due to the miraculous nature of my healing, I have witnessed to so many people both in my church and outside. All I need is a tiny crack of opportunity and I gratefully and thankfully pour out my witness, always mindful of God's Amazing Grace. Having always been such a private, shy person, I can only grin in amazement as words tumble forth as I share with others. The Lord's words, not mine, are being spoken.
I pray for you and your ministry daily, that you not grow weary, for through you I came to receive our Father's healing and love.

Dear CHM:
Our 35–year old daughter was in misery over her single state. As each of her friends married and began to have babies, she lamented and doubted God's love for her. After you began to pray, she showed a marked change. She prayed to be content in whatever state she is in. She is growing in physical beauty and in joy. She no longer appears at my door in tears. She has confidence in who she is in Christ. She chooses to trust God for the very best plan for her life.
