GOD in the midst of breast cancer

Dear CHM Prayer Intercessors,

I wanted to thank you so much for your faithful prayers on my behalf with regard to my having breast cancer. I had a mastectomy in April, and the surgery went beautifully. Not only was there no cancer in my lymph nodes or chest wall, but I learned the following week that I would not have to have chemotherapy, because the cancer had been detected so early!! What a miracle that God blessed my girls and me as a result of all the prayer lifted up on my behalf. I am a single parent, and the thought of facing chemo was pretty frightening. I prayed God would make the surgeon's news clear one way or another with regard to the chemotherapy, never expecting that he would answer that I didn't need to have i!

One small way God was glorified through this trial:the morning after the surgery, the surgeon removed my drain, saying I didn't need to go home with it. When the ladies from the American Cancer Society came into the room the next morning, they were shocked at that news. One of the ladies had to keep her drain for two weeks, and the other said that in over five years of visiting women who had mastectomies, she had NEVER heard of anyone getting their drain out before leaving the hospital. PRAISE GOD FOR HIS GOODNESS AND COMPASSION!

Thank you for your ministry and for the comfort it gave me in knowing you were praying for me.

Dear CHM:

I LOVE your newsletter and photocopy Francis' message for my pastor and doctors.

I had cancer two years ago and Francis prayed for me at Vail. God touched and healed me — Praise Him!

I am now visiting the sick in the hospital and offer prayer for healing. I loved Joy's article about her hospital stay; I had one that was very much like it.

God is so good an faithful. I pray for you!

Serving Christ with you,

Out of a Coma

Praise God and Hallelujah! God, because of the sacrifice of Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit, miraculously healed my soon–to–be daughter–in–law, Maria, in an amazingly short period of time. I sent you an Express mail letter asking for your spiritual intervention.

Doctors, nurses, attendants and all those who in some manner worked with her were astounded and actually shocked at her rapid recovery. They didn't surmise that she would come out of her coma due to the fact that no one knew how long she had not been breathing and without a pulse (Dead!). They also wondered what her mental capability might be if she did recover.

Everyone said it was a miracle. My son, Brad, explained to them that many people had prayed for her. He and Maria are planning to be married. Maria is gradually regaining her strength and appears to be mentally capable, for which we are continually praising Jesus.

I do so very much appreciate your kind and considerate phone call, information shared and your prayers. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, love and grace extended to all of us and especially for your prayers and intercession. God bless you in your service to God's family.
