Christmas Prayers for Our Nation

Greetings for a beautiful and blessed Christmas. I hope the coming year will be one of peace and great joy for all of CHM's readers and supporters, and that the Lord will accomplish all that concerns you. May you freely receive the JOY OF THE LORD that He promises us each day as we draw closer to Him.

This is a very crucial time for our nation, and I ask you to join with the CHM intercessors and pray the Scriptures for our nation. God's Word is the best way to pray for anything, as His Word is pure and holy and righteous, and there is no room for evil in His Word.

If you have a copy of my book, Sword of the Spirit, pray the Scriptures for the nation found on page 145 and the deliverance prayer on page 43. If you do not have a copy of the book, please pray the prayers I print here. Feel free to reprint this, copy it, pass it along to your prayer groups, churches, brothers and sisters in Christ — anyone who has a heart for America and knows that prayer can change things!

Even if you live in another country, please pray for us, as we are all one family in Christ Jesus. We covet the prayers of our brothers and sisters around the world.

Please lift up the following:

  • Every member of the House Judiciary Committee
  • Every member of the House of Representatives and the Senate
  • Every member of the legal teams involved in the presidential case
  • The Attorney General
  • All members of the media reporting on issues concerning the President of the United States
  • The President and his family

Please join us as we pray for God's guidance, will and divine intervention in the lives of these people as they come to a decision. We must trust that no matter what the outcome, He is God, and He is in control.

PRAY FOR THE HEALING OF OUR NATION. Pray for the perfect unity and peace of the Holy Spirit to pervade the chambers where they meet. Bind the spirit of division, a spirit definitely not of the Almighty God. "A divided nation cannot stand."

Prayers:

'Thank you, Lord, that our nation and the world, having the promises of God, will cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord, in the Name of Jesus Christ (II Corinthians 7: 1 ).

'Thank you, Lord, that this committee will obey God, rather than men, in the Name of Jesus Christ (Acts 5:29).

"Thank you, Lord, that there is nothing hidden in any of these people's lives or in this case that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not become known, and come to the light, in the Name of Jesus Christ (Luke 8: 17).

"Thank you, Lord, that this committee and our government will be filled with the knowledge of Your Will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, in the Name of Jesus Christ· (Colossians 1 :9).

'Thank you, Lord, for purging the U.S. government and all governments from all evil, in the name of Jesus Christ.

'Thank you, Lord, that You will give all of these people an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them, that You will remove from them their hearts of stone and give them hearts of flesh, so that they will then follow Your decrees, and be careful to keep Your laws. Then they will be Your people and You will be their God, in the Name of Jesus Christ (Ezekiel 11 :9).

'Thank you, Lord, that You will sanctify all of them/us in the Truth. Your Word is Truth, in the Name of Jesus Christ (John 17:17)."
